On the rooftop parking deck of the Lely headquarters in Maassluis, the Netherlands, our Dutch partner Recycled Outdoor Solutions (ROS) delivered an impressive custom-made project: a multifunctional terrace fully tailored to the client’s needs. This outdoor space, furnished with durable Govaplast furniture, combines meeting, relaxing, and lunching in one stylish setting.
From concept to completion: a strong collaboration
The assignment? To create a high-quality outdoor area where employees can hold meetings, enjoy lunch, or simply unwind. Through close collaboration between the architect, the client, and our partner R.O.S., an innovative and sustainable concept came to life. The result: a contemporary terrace beneath a sleek pergola, built entirely from recycled plastic materials by Govaplast.
Smart and stylish customization
The strength of this project lies in its tailored approach. Highlights include:
- Matrix benches and London benches and tables in various formats – from bar-height to low lounge versions.
- Storage boxes and a seat cushion chest, all crafted from Govaplast boards and seamlessly integrated into the design.
- A striking louvered pergola, constructed with Govaplast posts boards, providing shade and architectural elegance.
Sustainable, functional, and stylish
Thanks to the versatility of our materials and the craftsmanship of R.O.S., a unique outdoor space was created where style, comfort, and sustainability go hand in hand. This project is a great example of how flexible Govaplast products are when it comes to custom solutions and design.

ROS has been the specialist in recycled plastic products since 2009. The company is committed to providing its clients with sustainable and low-maintenance solutions for public spaces. More than a decade later, ROS has grown into a fully-fledged family business, led by mother Loes Vrielink and son Floris Jan Beumer. Since 2022, the company has undergone several changes — not only did Floris Jan join the team, but the name was also changed from MI Groep to Recycled Outdoor Solutions. “This new name better reflects the nature of our work,” they explain.
