Govaplast supports De Warmste Week – Project Pulderbos
De Warmste Week is an annual solidarity campaign in Flanders that raises funds for social and charitable projects.
From 18 to 24 December, all of Flanders once again commits to De Warmste Week. This year, the focus is on children and young people with invisible conditions, and Govaplast is proud to actively support one of the selected projects: Pulderbos Rehabilitation Centre for Children & Young People vzw in Zandhoven.
Pulderbos?
Pulderbos supports young rehabilitation patients with conditions such as epilepsy, chronic respiratory problems and other somatic difficulties. Together with De Warmste Week, we aim to create an inclusive play meadow with a greenhouse and vegetable garden — a place where all children can explore, play together and, above all, simply be children.
Our Govaplast benches and picnic tables will offer spaces for rest, connection and conversation.
Our contribution: the Warm Evening
On Thursday 11 December, we organised our Warm Evening at Govaplast — an invitation to all colleagues to come together and build after working hours.
Armed with saws, drills, screws and, above all, great enthusiasm, we got to work in our workshop.
The result?
We built a series of durable Govaplast furniture pieces that will be donated to Pulderbos during De Warmste Week and will soon take a central place in the new play meadow.
A warm impact
Thanks to this project, children with invisible conditions will have a safe and welcoming environment where they can play, explore and catch their breath.
For our team, it was more than just a building evening: it was a moment of connection, teamwork and contributing to something that truly makes a difference.
