Sustainability is not just a promise for us. It is embedded in everything we do. All our boards and profiles, and consequently all our street furniture, are manufactured from 100% recycled plastic. This plastic originates from household waste streams and undergoes a carefully controlled process before being given a new life as a high-quality product.
From waste to a sustainable raw material
The plastic is sorted, thoroughly washed and ground before being processed into a fully reusable raw material. This enables one-to-one recycling into new products: our Govaplast boards. In this way, we actively contribute to reducing plastic waste and keeping valuable materials in the circular economy.Strict verification through QA-CER certification
The use and application of our recycled materials are strictly verified under the QA-CER certification system. This certificate guarantees that our products are genuinely made from recycled plastic and that the production process meets clearly defined quality and sustainability standards.QA-CER is part of the Polycert Europe initiative, which is recognised at European level. The certification and audits are carried out by Centexbel, an independent and accredited research and certification organisation for the textile and plastics industry. This provides our customers with reliable, transparent proof of our sustainability claims.
