GOVAPLAST boardwalk in Kampen, Netherlands
180m2 of recycled plastic in the residential area “het Onderdijks de Terpen”
Recycled Govaplast plastic material was an easy choice! Creating a boardwalk through a swampy area (moisture) wasn’t a challenge for us. An entire construction made of recycled plastic that cannot rot: posts, side beams and deck. Govaerts Recycling has taken care of everything for the municipality, from design to production, from prefabrication of the decking to installation on location. And the result is excellent! A sustainable and low-maintenance decking path. The boardwalk has a lenght of 100m and is 1,8m wide. Govaplast completely unburdened the municipality of Kampen. We have assisted them from design to installation, from A to Z. We took care of the construction calculations and drawings, the prefabrictaion, production AND organized the entire installation in collaboration with a local contractor. Sustainable, low-maintenance decking path through the swampy area on the edg of the terp land.An impression of the boardwalk in Kampen:
